In 1996, he served on the Unity Committee for the Pennsylvania Chiropractic
Association, which successfully unified two of the state associations. Prior to
coming to New Hampshire in 2000, he was President of his County’s

chiropractic society as well as serving as the District Director for nine Counties

in northwestern Pennsylvania. He wrote the rules and regulations for chiropractic
staff privileges at an osteopathic hospital. Before leaving Erie, Pennsylvania, Dr. Parrish held the position as Chief of the Chiropractic Division, with seventeen chiropractors on staff. For years, he worked as an emergency medical technician on ambulance teams, as well as being trained as an advanced firefighter.

When Dr. Parrish isn’t treating patients at his office in Gilford, New Hampshire, he is usually playing trombone, singing or performing in a musical. Dr. Parrish started his life as a trombonist in fifth grade. Playing throughout high school, he managed to play in the concert and marching band, Junior Philharmonic and his first big band.

College postponed his trombone hobby for several years. Then, in the 1990’s he sparked an interest in playing musicals with the Erie Playhouse, a year round theatre based in Erie, Pennsylvania. Throughout the next few years, he performed in over 100 shows.

Currently, Dr. Parrish plays trombone in the Plymouth University Symphonic Band, Carter Mountain Brass, the Lakes Region Big Band and Gilford Community Band as High School, Gilford High School, Streetcar Theater and Franklin Footlight Theater.

As an actor, he has performed on stage in several musicals, including Fiddler on the Roof, Wizard of Oz, Joseph and Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Christmas Carol and Cheaper by the Dozen.
